The Shoe People Card Game (1987) – A Fun Matching Game for Kids and Families
Based on the much-loved children’s TV series, The Shoe People Card Game brings all the familiar characters like Trampy, PC Boot, Wellington, Charlie, and Baby Bootee into a fun matching game. It’s light-hearted, easy to learn, and perfect for families with younger children who enjoy playful, character-driven games.
How to Play
The aim of the game is to be the first player to collect three sets of three matching Shoe People cards. Each player begins with four cards, and on their turn they ask another player for a specific character card they need. If the opponent has it, they must swap it for one of their own cards. If not, the player must “Take a Shoe” by drawing from the Shoe Pile. Every time a player completes a set of three matching cards, they place it face up and replenish their hand from the pile. Play continues until one player successfully lays down three complete sets and wins the game.
