How to Play
Each round starts with a clue card – your job is to think of a word that fits the clue and add it to your crossword sheet. All answers must be written across or down (never diagonally), one letter per square. The catch? Your first word must run through the centre square marked with a "Q", and every word after that must connect to the grid by adding to or building off existing words.
Once the first player finishes writing their word, they flip the sand timer. Everyone else has until time runs out to finish. After that, players check if each answer fits the clue. Bonus points come from using starred or circled spaces and turning old words into new ones. Each correct word earns the points shown on the clue card – and if you’re quick or clever, you’ll rack up extra points fast.
Play continues with new clues until one player reaches 100 points and wins the game.
