Masquerade (1986) – Mime, Laugh and Race to the Centre!
If you're after a game that’ll have everyone laughing, guessing and getting into character, Masquerade from 1986 is the one to try. It’s all about acting out mimes, guessing each other’s silly (and sometimes tricky!) clues, and racing your way to the centre of the board. Perfect for a chilled night in with family or a fun party game with friends.
How to Play
Pick a counter and roll the dice. You’ll move along a coloured ribbon path, choosing green for easy, blue for tricky or red if you’re feeling bold! Whatever colour space you land on, you’ll act out a mime from the matching card. Everyone else has to guess what you’re acting out before the timer runs out! Get it right, and you move forward again. Get it wrong… backwards you go! There’s a few extra twists like bouncing off players, black diamonds that mean acting out “the whole thing”, and changing ribbons at special masque points. The first one to reach the centre and act out their final challenge wins the game!
Why Rent Masquerade
Masquerade is such a fun way to break the ice and bring people together. It’s full of energy, silliness, and plenty of dramatic moments. Whether you’re a confident performer or just want to have a go, this one gets everyone involved. It’s great for family nights, get-togethers, or parties. The mix of strategy, guessing and laughter makes this a real standout – and you don’t need to be a mime expert to enjoy it.
