Hedgehog’s Revenge (1980) – Outsmart the Chaos with Spiky Strategy

Hedgehog’s Revenge (1980) – Outsmart the Chaos with Spiky Strategy

Hedgehog’s Revenge (1980) is a chaotic, clever game of cars, destinations and spiky little saboteurs. The aim? Get all four of your cars to their chosen destinations before anyone else does – or be the player with the most cars safely parked by the end of the game. But there’s a twist... the hedgehogs are out, and they’re not playing nice. You’ll use your own team of hedgehogs to block, annoy and send your opponents to the scrapyard – all while dodging their prickly plans in return. It’s unpredictable, sneaky and loads of fun. Whether you're going solo or teaming up with a partner, this one’s full of surprise tactics and laugh-out-loud revenge moves. Just don't get caught by two hedgehogs at once...

How to Play
Each player gets 4 cars and 4 hedgehogs. You’ll draw 5 destination cards (one becomes your starting point and the rest are your ‘home’ goals), plus an insurance card to help protect against hedgehog attacks. Players bring in their cars and hedgehogs one by one, then take turns rolling the dice to move them. You’ll move cars toward your destinations, but you’ll also move your hedgehogs to cause chaos. Hedgehogs can stop cars, force them into dares, or even send them to the scrapyard. If a player’s car meets a hedgehog (or worse, two), they’ve got to draw a Hedgehog’s Revenge card and complete a dare – or get ready for the consequences. The first player to get all four cars home wins… unless the hedgehogs get there first.

It’s got that old-school board game magic – fun, unpredictable and full of memorable moments. If you want a game where anything can happen and everyone stays involved, this one’s a winner.
