Flips (1953) – A Classic Game of Skill and Precision

Flips (1953) is a classic game of skill by Spear’s Games that’s as simple as it is addictive. Designed for 2–6 players aged 6 to adult, this retro favourite challenges players to flip small counters into scoring trays on a target board. It’s fast, fun, and full of laughter as everyone aims for that perfect shot to land in the highest-scoring tray.

How to Play
To set up, place the target box in the centre of the table and give each player a large counter and matching small counters. Players take turns flipping their small counters toward the target using the edge of their large counter to launch them forward. Each tray on the target has a different score value — aim for the centre tray or the ones marked with a star for the highest points! Miss the target and you score nothing, so accuracy and control are key.

Why Rent
If you enjoy games of skill and precision that get everyone laughing, Flips (1953) is a brilliant pick. It’s quick to learn, fun for all ages, and perfect for a friendly family competition. Renting this vintage gem gives you a chance to enjoy a nostalgic piece of board game history without needing to own it — a simple, classic challenge that never gets old.
