Battleship (1995) – Classic Naval Strategy Board Game

Battleship (1995) is a classic head-to-head board game where two players face off in a battle of logic, memory and nerve. Each player secretly places their fleet on a grid, then takes turns calling out coordinates in an attempt to locate and sink the opponent’s ships. Every move matters, as players track hits and misses while slowly narrowing down where the enemy fleet is hiding. Simple to learn but full of tension, Battleship is one of those games that keeps both players fully focused from the first shot to the last.

How to play

In Battleship (1995), each player sets up their ships on an ocean grid behind a screen so their opponent cannot see them. Players then take turns calling out a letter and number to fire a shot at the opposing grid. A hit is marked with a red peg and a miss with a white peg, helping players remember previous moves. Ships take multiple hits to sink, and the first player to sink all of their opponent’s ships wins the game.
